THE BLUE MOUNTAINS BOTANIC GARDEN MOUNT TOMAH
The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden is located under 2-hours’ drive from Sydney on the Bells Line of Road and is home to 21,000 plants and 900 species. It is the only Botanic Garden located in a World Heritage Area and is focused on the conservation of cool climate plants.

Yvonne Jenkins Memorial Award Presentation

The Sound of Memories - a sonic experience

For open day on Saturday the 18th August WAMC is proud to present ‘The Sound of Memories – Woodford Academy’ a multi-room acousmatic interpretive experience by Blue Mountains based composer Noel Burgess. 'The Sound of Memories-Woodford Academy' is a sonic interpretation of a recorded conversation between the school rector’s daughter, Gertrude McManamey and 3 former female students, reflecting on her life at the 'Woodford Academy - School for Boys’, during the early 20th century.
