Meeting in Megalong Valley

The BMACHO Committee Meeting was held at the Megalong Valley Tea Rooms on 1 September 2017.  After the meeting we drove through Green Gully and on to Dunphy’s Camping Ground.  On the way back we viewed the ruins of a pisé house, in Green Gully, which we think is the old Carlon Farm House.  When we arrived back at the Megalong Valley Tea Rooms, we assembled at the Bleichert Counter Wheels and Phil Hammon gave a brief talk on the former use of the wheels in the shale mine.  Lunch followed outside at the Megalong Valley Tea Rooms.
