Aims and Objects of BMACHO

 

The AIMS of BMACHO are:  to foster and support the cultural heritage
activities of its member organisations

Its OBJECTS are:

To raise public consciousness of the value of cultural heritage;
To encourage and assist the activities of its member organisations;
To initiate activities in heritage areas not already covered by its members. 

BMACHO brings together some thirty museums, archives, libraries, historical and family history societies, and commercial and institutional organisations actively interested in the history of the Blue Mountains region.

BMACHO also enjoys the support of a number of individual specialists who help  strengthen the work of these organisations.
